We use "Classical" not in the sense of an era and place, such as it is often applied to the Viennese Classical composers Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven, but in the other common and more general application that Grove's Dictionary of Music attempts to describe as that music which models excellence and discipline in any era.  (**Grove's article**)   In short, we are not qualified to teach jazz, rock, or pop, excepting that which is available as sheet music for the beginning to intermediate student who simply wishes to augment his/her repertoire.  Please contact us if you need reference to a qualified jazz instructor.
